The Connecticut Guardian is the monthly news publication for the Connecticut National Guard, State Military Department, State Militia and their families. Its goal is to provide members with information, education, and entertainment as it pertains to their careers, training, health, veteran's status and benefits, families and education. The Guardian acts as the command information vehicle of the Adjutant General and provides a means of communication between leadership and the Soldier/Airman. In addition, the Connecticut Guardian aims to keep retirees up to date on benefits, and Connecticut National Guard news and events in order to promote support amongst our past members. Lastly, the Guardian provides information to the general, non-military public in order to enhance understanding of the Connecticut National Guard and its missions and to promote recruiting of new members.
