Connecticut, New York Guard partner for COVID-19 testing

By Staff Sgt. Steven Tucker 103rd Airlift Wing

The Connecticut National Guard 14th Civil Support Team and 103rd Medical Group, New York National Guard 24th Civil Support Team, and Connecticut Department of Public Health worked in partnership to provide COVID-19 testing to Connecticut Air National Guard personnel at Bradley Air National Guard Base, East Granby, Connecticut, June 19, 2020.

Airmen from the 103rd Medical Group tested personnel using nasal swabs provided from the Connecticut Department of Public Health, and civil support team personnel analyzed the samples using their Analytical Laboratory System vehicles. This testing helped the 103rd Airlift Wing evaluate the health of its force and supported the 14th Civil Support Team COVID-19 response mission of providing testing data from locations throughout the state.
