The flight crew of a CH-47 Chinook helicopter belonging to the Connecticut National Guard's 1-169th Aviation Regiment prepared the aircraft for its departure to North Carolina at the Army Aviation Support Facility in Windsor Locks, Conn. Sept. 27, 2024. The helicopter and its crew were deployed to North Carolina to assist with transporting people and supplies in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
