A World War II veteran stands to be recognized by attendees of the 73rd annual Connecticut Armed Forces Day Luncheon in Southington, Connecticut, May 20, 2022. Of the more than 700 service members, veterans, and civil leaders in attendance, three were veterans of the Second World War.
