At the Joint Resiliency Directorate (JRD), our mission is to collaborate with existing prevention and intervention programs to strengthen the readiness and resiliency of the Connecticut National Guard. Our vision is to build a culture of trust that fosters dignity, respect, and inclusivity to optimize mental and emotional health for our Service Members, their families, and civilian personnel within the organization.
The JRD is a professional, integrated and multi-domain directorate focused on maximizing Service Members’ wellness, performance and quality of military service through innovative programs, improved coordination, and increased access to resources.
Our approach involves identifying and mitigating risk factors, encouraging healthy behaviors, and establishing a safe and culturally competent work environment. By introducing innovative wellness programs, we strive to empower all members of the community to thrive.
The JRD end state is to build and retain Unit readiness through more knowledgeable, prepared and resilient Service Members and families.
